“ I needed a saw for my cabin and the reviews were pretty decent on this one. At this point I have several hours of clearing small trees, this is Oregon so trees get pretty big here, and the saw has worked very well. I had read that the saw might be hard to start but there are fairly detailed steps for priming/choking/number of pulls and frankly it was two pulls and off to work after I put fuel and bar oil in it.

Fuel efficiency is pretty good, I need a break before it does, and the chain is well sharpened out of the box.

4 stars out of 5 comes down to power. In all honesty if I let the saw do the work that really isn’t an issues but if I try to speed up the cutting process a bit it will bog down or bind up but using proper cutting technique it works like a champ.

I put this in my good purchase bucket versus the why did I buy that thing bucket. ”
