Question:

Is this saw good for falling trees and cutting firewood?

Answer:

Based on my experience, it works well for trees up to about 2 1/2 ft in diameter but you need to rotate the tree if it is bigger than about 18 inches. There are more powerful saws for professional use on big trees, but most homeowners will do fine with it. It really comes down to how often you need a chainsaw. I dropped an 18″ tree and cut it to firewood length in one day.
